The goal of the home finding program is to identify the most appropriate housing for an assignee and his/her family. We act as an advocate for the assignee during the process to ensure that all requirements are satisfied. We will negotiate competitive pricing on behalf of your assignees for apartment rents and the lease terms.

Prior to arrival

  • Initial telephone contact with employee by EuroHome coordinator
  • Preparation of program based on Needs Assessment

Upon arrival

  • Meeting the transferee at airport / hotel / company
  • Short briefing about the Czech Republic / preferred area
  • Accompanied viewing of 8-10 accommodation alternatives
  • Assistance with lease negotiations
  • Assistance with the in check and inventory
  • Assistance with the connection of basic utilities like gas, water and eElectricity

Settling in Services

  • Arranging temporary hotel accommodation
  • Obtaining lease or rental vehicles
  • Opening of a bank account
  • Application for insurances
  • Purchase of furniture
  • School/kindergarten registration
  • Finding of a baby-sitter
  • Finding a cleaning lady or home help
  • Liaison with services providers (for example plumbers, electricians, technicians etc.)
  • Obtaining a phone
  • Apply radio and TV licences
  • Pet importation
  • Finding of a veterinary doctor
  • Accompanied visit to shopping centres and markets
  • Information on recreational and interest clubs, groups and organisations
